“There’s no greater power on earth than a story.”
I’m a Media Production graduate looking to build a meaningful career in the development of television, film, and interactive media projects.
My interest in television began at the early age of four when I rewrote Spongebob episodes as picture books for my friends. This passion for storytelling continued at the prestigious film program at Etobicoke School of the Arts where I made over ten short films. Two of my films, Anthousai and Dysmorphia were selected for the TIFF Next Wave Young Filmmakers Showcase.
I recently earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production at Ryerson University, one of the top international film schools according to The Hollywood Reporter. During my studies, I produced a short documentary I Want You to Live which is currently playing in film festivals across the world. I was also selected to be part of RTA in LA, a two week intensive on American television that culminated in a pitch to industry members in Los Angeles.
For the past few years, I have gained experience in the development and production of film and television at the media companies Darius Films, Forté Entertainment and marblemedia. I have also volunteered for the Canadian Film Centre, the Independent Production Fund and the Ottawa International Animation Festival. Currently, I’m working as a Development Coordinator at WildBrain and producing a web series as part of Oya Emerging Filmmakers program.
